Data in the app

Bathroom, drinking, training and optional intimacy records stay on your own iPhone and Apple Watch. WatchConnectivity synchronizes your devices directly, and widgets read a local shared summary. We do not operate a backend that receives these records or have a dashboard to view them. Hushlog has no account system, so there is nothing to sign up for or sign in to.

Notifications, widgets and the Lock Screen

Lock Screen notifications never mention urination, bowel movements or pelvic-floor training. Training reminders show “Time for a quick session” with the plan name and length, water reminders show “Time for some water” with how much you have drunk today, and sitting reminders show “You’ve been sitting for an hour”. The handwashing prompt on Apple Watch is off by default. If you turn on “Prompt after handwashing” in the Me tab, your watch asks “Just used the bathroom?” after you wash your hands and offers Pee, Poop and Both buttons. With Face ID Lock on, iPhone widgets on the Home Screen and Lock Screen show no numbers, and the Live Activity (the timer on the Dynamic Island and Lock Screen) is not shown. Face ID Lock applies only to iPhone, not to Apple Watch.

Health and motion permissions

Only if you enable the relevant feature, intimacy records can be written to Apple Health, handwashing events can prompt a log on your watch, sleep data can be displayed on your phone, and steps can support sedentary reminders on your watch. You control these permissions. The app does not upload this health or motion data for advertising, marketing or tracking.

Backups, exports and deletion

The app does not provide iCloud data sync. You can choose to export CSV, PDF or a password-encrypted backup and decide where to save or share it. Exported files are first stored in the app’s own temporary folder, which is cleared each time the app starts and when you use “Delete All Data”. Keep backups and passwords secure. Deleting a record in the app does not delete files you previously saved or shared. Uninstalling removes that device’s local app data; watch data, system backups and records already in Apple Health must be managed separately. System device transfers and backups follow your Apple settings.

Purchases and intended users

Apple handles in-app purchases and payment and Apple Account details. Hushlog is intended for adults and provides logging and training reminders, not diagnosis or treatment.

Advertising and tracking

The apps and these website pages do not include advertising or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs.

Website and support email

Cloudflare Pages hosts this website. To deliver pages and protect network security, Cloudflare may process IP addresses, requests and network information under its Privacy Policy. This does not mean the app uploads its local records. When you email us, we receive the address and content you provide to answer and handle your support request. Avoid sending unnecessary health, location or intimate records. Contact the same address to request deletion of information you supplied by email.
